Want to get rid of our Conservative MP? You can make a difference!
Recent polling has shown us that we can elect a Labour MP in Hexham, for the first time ever. And as Labour picks up by-election successes in rural constituencies such as Selby, we know that we can be part of a General Election victory for Labour. But it won’t be easy, and we need every member to play a part, no matter how small. Every single additional contribution to the campaign edges us closer to success.
Many people are put off by the idea of knocking on doors (though from personal experience it can actually be quite rewarding). However, there are many other ways in which you can help, so don’t be shy! Come along to one of our Campaign update meetings (13th September, 7pm at the Spetchells Centre on Prudhoe Front Street NE42 5AA, or 15th September, 7pm at Hexham Community Centre, Gilesgate, Hexham NE46 3NP). There you will learn
- What we’re doing to elect a Labour MP for the first time
- Why we think we can win
- What you can do to help
We promise that we won’t subject you to a long presentation. Hopefully you’ll find the meeting rewarding. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
